SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – The Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team travels to Grand Rapids, Michigan for its final regular season matchup of the year as the Blue Devils face the Aquinas (Mich.) College Saints. Kickoff is set for 1:00 P.M.
Lawrence Tech (11-5, 5-4 WHAC) suffered a 6-0 loss in their contest with the University of Northwestern Ohio on Wednesday, October 26. The Blue Devils were able to get off only three shots against the Racers' firm defense. Derstine finished the game with eight saves and four allowed goals before being relieved by Megan Dixon.
Aquinas enters this contest 9-5-3, 5-3-1 in the WHAC. They faced Cornerstone (Mich.) University on Wednesday, October 26, winning 2-0 with goals from Morgan Halligan and Melissa Brittain. Keeper Kylie Robb saw only two shots on goal from the Eagles, making two saves to keep the game two-nil.
Fronting the Saints scoring brigade this season is Anya Pallas with eight goals and one assist. Morgan Halligan has contributed six goals and two assist while Jessica Parry and Mariah Otolski both add five goals and three and five assists respectively.
