SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - Hoping to rebound from two straight WHAC losses, the Lawrence Technological University women's soccer team hosts Rochester (Mich.) College Saturday, October 15 at 3:00 P.M.
Lawrence Tech (9-3, 4-2 WHAC) enters this match after a 1-4 defeat to Madonna (Mich.) University. The Crusaders were paced by Nicolette Vultaggio with two goals. Jamie Moceri and Kelly Capoccia each added one goal as well. Notching the lone goal for the Blue Devils was Tia Lamie late in the 67th minute of play.
Rochester comes into this match-up 7-5-3, recently dropping their contest 1-2 to Wittenberg (Ohio) University on October 11. Sophomore Ashlin Taylor recorded the only goal for the Warriors. Taylor leads the Warriors with seven goals in 21 shots on goal and two assists. Behind her follows Cassidy Kowalski and Emily Hall with five goals respectively. Goalkeeper Barbara Bronco-Lazarini has started nine of the 11 games she has played in tallying 45 saves while allowing 10 goals.
